Glady’s Knight’s song, ‘You’re the best thing that ever happened to me’ is a sincere love song, with words such as, ‘you’ll be there, between each line of pain and glory, because you’re the best thing that ever happened to me.’ I’m sure many feel that way about their partners, so it’s definitely a consideration for a first dance song, even though it’s not the popular choice people go for as wedding music.

The brother and sister group have produced some amazing love songs, but I can only list one of them, one they themselves hadn’t even written, but one they’re most famous for. ‘(They Belong To Be) Close to you’ by The Carpenters is slow and mellow, but every lyric is all about being close to that special someone.
