“I have been going to see Caroldene Black perform live since the mid 1990s. I have seen her at a number of venues over the years and would have to say that her ability as a singer is simply awesome.
She has an incredibly moving voice which i have to say frequently sends a shiver down my spine. If you get a chance to see her perform live i can assure you that you are in for a real treat. She performs such classics as ”I will always love you” by Whitney Houston, ”Hero” by Mariah Carey and “The Rose” by Bette Midler but puts her own uniquely soulful stamp on them.
It’s no exaggeration to say that her renditions of many classic songs are either on par with or even better than the originals.
Her voice is on par with such artists as Roberta Flack, Anita Baker and Whitney Houston although to compare her entirely with such artists would be not really do justice to her peerless vocals which are uniquely beautiful in their own right.
Having said that Caroldene is not just a singer of ballads. She can rock a party as well and can perform deeply soulful vocals over the top of blistering r and b and dance tracks as well as bass heavy reggae tunes as well.
She is a true professional and has toured with the likes of Matt Bianco. The Pet Shop Boys , Jimmy Ruffin and Womack and Womack.
What more can i say except that if you get a chance to see Caroldene perform live then seize it with both hands. Caroldene puts every fibre of her soul in to each performance. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!!”

Carol Black – What an entertainer!
I went to see Carol Black for the first time on 12th Nov 2010 at The Railway Hotel in Hertfordshire with some friends of mine who had seen her before. They told me it would be good night out and that I shouldn’t miss it. Even though I was sick with flu I decided to go to the gig, and I’m so glad I did! Carol was fantastic! She has an amazing voice and is so diverse. I also enjoyed the way she entertained the crowd with her humour and friendliness. I’m definitely a fan now and can’t wait to see her again in concert. I would recommend anyone to go and see her if you get the chance…you certainly won’t regret it. Well done Carol.

Last night I celebrated my 50th birthday at a party at the Spaghetti Tree, at Walton on the hill Tadworth. I asked the owner if she could recommend a singer. Carol Black was on her list! I spoke with Carol and arranged for her to be at my party, and wow she made my party a real night to remember. Her voice and personality are amazing, everyone was up dancing and who don’t do dancing were singing! To say Carol is great is a bit understated, Texts from all my friends saying great night, and where did I get the singer from? Is proof to me I chose well, and I am sure she will get a few bookings from last night. Fab entertainer!

Headway has just celebrated Christmas 2010…. As a charity it is important that we offer our clients who are survivors of brain injury and their families the opportunity to celebrate together, it is equally important that we get the right entertainer and this year we hit the jackpot, Carol is a star in more than one way, listens to what you have to say about your event and is reassuring about her skills and abilities to make the event special and confirming the booking arrangements by letter.
On the day carol arrived promptly with a pre arrival text to let us know she was on her way, even though having difficulty with access to the building putting her behind she remained calm and in control.
Carols brief was to mix in with our clients and families becoming a part of the party and this is exactly what happened, she allowed people to sing along with her, she went out into the room and included those who could not make the dance floor, everyone felt included and thoroughly enjoyed the party atmosphere.
If you are looking for an entertainer who knows how to entertain then look no further, Carol made our party special just like her…. Thank you
