And I loved his version.
Not to say the Scottish drama teacher and singer is comparable to the power house that is Whitney Houston, but considering how good his voice is, he could have done the pop-starry X-Factor thing and be serious and boring. Well he wasn’t serious or boring! He was took the mick, and it was brilliant!!!
He took Whitney Houston’s song, Greatest Love Of All, and sung passionately about Postman Pat, those once annoying little Teletubbies and Popeye and his spinach. Of course, it was entertaining, but the man can sing!
It’s like America’s Got Talent, but British!
And if you don’t know what ‘America’s Got Talent’ is…
Don’t worry. It’s not all that important.
Well, Britain’s Got Talent hosted an array of contenders who want to perform at the Queen’s Royal Variety Show yesterday. However, Edwards dreams of performing in front of royalty was cut short as he wasn’t voted through to the next stage. It was a tough lineup and there was another Scottish guy who also sung beautifully.
